When receiving e-mails containing HTML code in OS X Mail, you will notice that some e-mail messages comes with very small text. With this default write command it’s possible to set the minimum font size for text in HTML e-mails. In some cases changing the size of text will break the layout.

Disable the preview from attachments in mail
When you open an email with an attachment there will be automatically displayed preview. Through the Preferences menu of the Mail application there is no option to turn this feature off. You can disable the preview with the following command:
Activate OS X Finder in Simple mode
The ‘Simple Finder mode’ hides desktop files, and won’t let anyone open a new Finder window. Only applications in the Dock can be launched. Note that Spotlight can still be used for launching items. This command could be a nice alternative for setting up restrictions without a guest user account. Click Finder ▸ Run Full Finder, and then type in your admin password to start Finder in normal mode.
Use the system highlight color for ‘Today’ in Calendar
In OS X it’s possible to change the highlight color. You can do this in the General ▸ Appearance panel in System Preferences. The Calendar application doesn’t use the highlight color for ‘Today’. This uses the default color blue, you can enable the system highlight color for the today selection with the following command.
Disable the rounded corners in QuickTime Player X
It’s possible to disable the rounded window corners while playing a movie in QuickTime, use the following command to disable them.
OS X Terminal: Activate focus follow
By default, mouse focus for Terminal is determined by clicking on the desired window, but it is often more convenient to have the focus automatically follow the mouse to any Terminal window.
